This residence stands as one of the largest single-family timber-framed buildings ever constructed, a project that interprets Pagano’s architectural language through an extraordinary design characterised by large volumes, light, comfort and architectural continuity.
The residence covers an area of approximately 5,000 square metres and is designed to meet all the needs of the family living there, integrating architecture, wellbeing, hospitality and everyday life within a single, coherent system.
Designed by the Pagano architectural team, the villa interprets the brand’s architectural principles, taking them to an exceptional scale: large double-height reception rooms, impressive windows, expansive structural openings and spaces designed to allow for a fluid and continuous experience of the space.
The architecture incorporates numerous spaces dedicated to the family’s comfort and wellbeing, including a cinema room, relaxation areas, spaces for entertaining and an indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool designed as an integral part of the living experience.
Great attention has also been paid to the customisation of the interiors, which have been bespoke-designed for the clients through an integrated approach combining architecture, interior design and high-quality craftsmanship.
Adjacent to the property is a spa covering approximately 3,000 square metres, conceived as an extension of the home and dedicated to wellness, relaxation and quality of life.
Insight
One of the most significant features of the project is the indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool, characterised by large structural spans and expansive architectural volumes. Particular attention has been paid to the climate and services engineering of these spaces, which have been designed to ensure high levels of comfort and temperature control even in an environment characterised by particularly harsh outdoor temperatures well below freezing.
The entire project was developed by the Pagano team through an integrated process of architectural design, interior design and technical coordination.
The complexity and scale of the project required an extremely detailed development of every space and every design element, whilst maintaining continuity between the architecture, structure, building services and quality of living.
Production was carried out at the Pagano plant through an extremely thorough pre-engineering process and meticulous monitoring of all stages of production.
Every element of the structure was developed in detail to coordinate the architecture, services, large structural spans and technological performance, ensuring precision in execution and continuity of construction on a particularly complex design scale.
Great attention was also paid to the organisation of logistics and transport, coordinating every stage of the process to ensure production continuity and operational control.
Despite the extraordinary scale of the project, the Pagano system made it possible to maintain high levels of precision, speed and control throughout the assembly phases.
The construction site was managed by Pagano’s specialist teams, who, on particularly complex projects, also strategically coordinate local expertise to ensure maximum operational efficiency, speed of construction and continuity of the build process.
