Architecture dedicated to wellbeing

Overlooking the natural landscape of the Tuscan dunes, this project stems from the convergence of architecture, sustainability and respect for the local environment. A place designed to interact with nature without upsetting its balance.

Building in harmony with the local area

Sustainability

One of the most significant aspects of the project concerns the sustainable approach to the building site and construction within a sensitive ecosystem. Pagano’s construction technology has made it possible to reduce the impact of the works on the local area thanks to short assembly times, a less intrusive building site and controlled management of the construction phases. In terms of noise, movement of materials and the operational presence on site, the system has also enabled work to be carried out whilst maintaining harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

The project was developed by the Pagano team using an integrated approach that took into account the architectural, environmental and functional requirements of the building.

Great attention was paid to the relationship between the building and the coastal landscape, creating a design that welcomes the public whilst maintaining continuity with nature and the identity of the site.

The structure was constructed at the Pagano factory using a production process developed in line with the architectural design.

The preparation of the building components made it possible to minimise on-site work and to intervene in the natural environment with a more controlled and less invasive construction site.

The installation phase was carried out with due regard for the site’s environmental characteristics and the sensitivity of the surrounding ecosystem.

The site photographs illustrate a construction process that blends discreetly into the landscape, gradually revealing the emergence of the architecture amongst the dunes and the natural vegetation of the Tuscan coast.
